La Rogativa is a bronze sculpture overlooking the San Juan Bay. It commemorates the legendary religious procession from 1797. The Bishop led a group of people carrying torches and singing hyms. The British troops in the harbor thought the lights were Spanish reinforcements and withdrew their troops from the harbor.
